Colin Sahlman, a junior at Newbury Park High, placed 11th in his section of the men's 1,500 meters in 3:46.39 at the Sound Running Track Meet in Irvine, Calif. Sahlman produced the No. 6 all-time mark among California prep athletes, including the fastest since 2016.
