Taryn Rawlings and Emily Lipari, both representing adidas and Golden Coast Track Club, each achieved the World Championships standard in the women's 5,000 meters at the Sound Running Track Meet at JSerra High in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. Rawlings placed second in a lifetime-best 15:05.94 and Lipari secured sixth in a personal-best 15:07.22, as eight female athletes ran sub-15:10 to earn the World Championships standard.
